Microsoft Surface Pro is an innovation in its kind. With an amazingly slim and light body, Microsoft designed it for an outstanding performance that has won the hearts of people around. Microsoft is all set to launch Surface Pro 5 next year powered with a massive 512GB storage.
Microsoft Surface Pro 4 housed Intel i7 processor and 16GB RAM. But Surface Pro 5 will unbox with a huge storage capacity of 512GB and better battery life.
According to TechRadar, Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will come with better battery, sharper screen and possibly a USB Type-C port. It will also include Thunderbolt 3 as an interface.
Rumors suggest that the Surface Pen would also be improved with wireless charging from its magnetic dock. Microsoft is expected to opt for fingerprint scanning through PixelSense display, which the company has filed for a patent four years ago.
According to Yahoo!, Microsoft has begun its trial period under ODM Pegatron - a company that manufactures Surface Studio and Apple's iPhones.
Surface phones are also on Microsoft's future plans although nothing much is known yet.
"We will continue to be in the phone market not as defined by today's market leaders," said Microsoft CEO Natya Nadaella.
"But by what it is that we can uniquely do in what is the most ultimate mobile device," he added.
It will be powered by the latest Kaby Lake processor from Intel as well as Windows 10 Redstone 3 from Microsoft.
The price of Microsoft Surface Pro 5 could be around US $899 with its release is slated in spring 2017.
