Stephen Curry, Mario Chalmers and Derrick Rose are among the NBA players who are the center of NBA trade rumors these days. Every team continually aims to improve their roster even if they are already in the middle of the season.
As supported by some reports, Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors might possibly sign with the Charlotte Hornets this 2017. But when Curry was asked about it, there was no assurance with his answer.
It can be recalled that Curry had acquired ankle injuries during his early days in the NBA but he ended up dealing with an extension from his contract in October 2012 and that he was underpaid. During the 2016-2017, Curry was making $12.11 million and being a free agent in July, Curry is expected to sign a new deal amounting to $28.75 million.
According to Inquistr, there is a possibility that Stephen Curry will be heading to Hornets but there are a lots of indications point to him. There is also a likelihood that he will sign a five-year contract with the Warriors which is worth $165 million soon.
Another player who is rumored to be joining Lebron James in the Cleveland Cavaliers is Mario Chalmers. Well Chalmers is still in the lookout for a team and James is still searching for another backup point guard. Well, if this will materialize, the two can reunite.
It has been mentioned that Mario Chalmers still is an option for the Cavs but they will be likewise looking for other alternatives before acquiring Chalmers. But if the team cannot complete a trade for a point guard, there is a chance that Chalmers will join Lebron James in the Cavs in January.
Lastly, Derrick Rose might stay still with the New York Knicks as the team is preparing to sign him for a three-year extension contract beginning on December 22 with a 7.5 percent increases. It can be recalled that the Knicks can only offer a two-year extension until that time wherein that restriction is part already of the trade rules in the collective bargaining agreement as per ESPN.
But Derrick Rose was asked about the possibility of extending his contract with the team who will become a free agent this July if he doesn't sign with the Knicks. According to him, he is not yet certain since he is after winning more games at the moment.
