Samsung seems to be working on Android 7.0 Nougat update for Galaxy Note 5. Latest reports hitting the internet revealed that a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 running on the latest android update was spotted on GFXBench.
Earlier, rumors claimed that Android 7.0 Nougat will run on Galaxy Note 5, S6 and S7 Edge smartphones. With the recent report, it can be considered that the earlier rumors are true and Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will soon get the Android 7.0 Nougat update.
But the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 running on Android 7.0 Nougat at GFXBench is not an official confirmation. But it is a good indication that the Note 5 will get the Nougat update shortly.
Normally, Android OEMs usually start benchmarking their customized Android builds only after some work is finished and have already entered the debugging phase of development. However, GFXBench report should be taken as a grain of salt.
Final official announcement from Samsung is indeed very much important for confirmation and if the information seen on GFXBench is true, then Samsung is expected to announce it officially anyhow for the devices like the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.
