CW's long running TV series Supernatural is currently in Season 12, and main stars Misha Collins (Castiel), Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester) and Jared Padalecki (Sam Winchester) talk about the future of the show.
In an interview with SEAT42F, the trio hinted at the upcoming plot, their struggle against the British Men Of Letters, what to expect from mom Mary Winchester, how they are dealing with the classic monsters and many more topics.
Jensen Ackles revealed that having Mary Winchester in a brothers' life is somewhat of a forced situation, because even if she is their mom still the brothers don't have any real connection with her growing up.
As speculated earlier by many fans that the brothers might be plotting against Mary, Jensen denies such accusations even if sometimes it feels like that's what happening.
When asked about the British Men of Letters, the boys revealed that the second half of the season will focus mainly on that story arc, and there will be major conflicts between the Winchester's and their allies, and the British Men of Letters.
Jared mentioned that the British Men of Letters are somewhat like the Soulless Sam from Season 6, which is going to cause moral dilemmas to deal with throughout the rest of the season.
Talking about the future, Jensen, Jared and Misha stated that they are hoping to hit 300 episode mark in future. There is no news from the network to cancel the show and kill the Winchesters as of now.
The cast also stated that their major roadblock till now is definitely the Thule and the Nazis, along with the constant threat that is Lucifer.
Meanwhile, according to Celeb Mix, Jared, along with Jensen and Misha Collins, has started a new charity campaign called "Supernatural Family Love".
Fans can buy merchandise, including hoodie, beanie, v-neck, and regular tee, which are related to the campaign from now until December 15.
