Among all the Duggar females aging twenty and above, Jana Duggar, remains the only one that has not been married or in a relationship. This time, the elder daughter revealed the reason why she has not yet entered on public courtship unlike her other sisters.
It's long been a question presented by the fans before, but Jana had kept mum about the issue. There were even speculations that had claimed of her being a lesbian because until now there has not been any guy that Jana introduced to her family and to the public.
The 26-year old, though, had revealed that she experienced courting before, but never really decided to make it publicized unlike the relationships of her sisters Jessa, Jill, Jinger and even Joy-Anna. According to The Hollywood Gossip, even though she is approaching the age of twenty-seven next month, she is in no rush to settle down with someone.
As per the source, Jana had shared in an interview that there were different types of guys that approached her and asked her out before, but she said that they 'haven't been the right one.' And apparently, until now even though she felt a little tempted to follow the steps of her sisters, she said that she could wait for the perfect man for her marriage.
Meanwhile, on a report from The Stir, it was reported that rumors have been surfacing recently that the reason why Jana is still unmarried is because her parents, Jim Bob and Michelle are keeping her captive. This apparently meant that the Duggar parents are afraid they could lose their live-in nanny.
According to the report, the reason why Jana was sometimes dubbed as the 'Cinderella Duggar' is because she stays at home and does the household chores most of the time which her mother would appreciate. If she also gets engaged with the public courtship, it is understood that Jana will no longer be staying at home, and this apparently worried her parents.
However, the Duggar parents have not really commented regarding the speculation. All fans know is that they would still support Jana and hoping that she would find the man that would take her to the altar soon enough.
