‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’ Trailer & Update: Marvel movie to present new characters, more funny scenes

It has been more than two years since Guardians of the Galaxy got fans hooked on Marvel's gang of comical space explorers, and if the first full trailer for 2017's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is any indication, you can expect some more Gamora action, adventure, and interstellar-y scenes the second time around.

Old and new faces coming

The trailer features all of our favorite Guardians of the Galaxy heroes, which includes Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, and Dave Bautista as Drax. We can also expect some other characters on the upcoming movie, which would include some toothy monsters, a dogged dogfight, and, of course, Baby Groot, who everyone has been expecting to see.

A lot of questions to be answered

Can the Guardians battle the bad guys while still keeping their band of Galactic heroes together? Will director James Gunn find even more '70s soft-rock music for the soundtrack? And how many one-liners will Rocket Raccoon be saying on the upcoming movie? We can definitely find out when Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits the big screen.

Expect a lot of funny scenes

Just like the film's first teaser, the trailer doesn't completely dig into the sequel's plot, instead, it opts to spotlight the Guardians' funny exchanges and encounters, including a very long scene where Rocket Raccoon tries to teach Baby Groot when to properly detonate a nuclear device.

Star-Lord, Gamora, and Drax the Destroyer will also be shown taking part in some sort of intergalactic therapy session. As director James Gunn previously mentioned, the Marvel team is intentionally keeping its plot a secret until the movie's official May 5th, 2017 release.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 coming soon

With Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, fans can really go through every single little shot and try to figure out what the movie is all about. But there will also be a lot of mysteries in Guardians 2. But with all things said, everything will go down once the movie hits the big screen.
