The rumored deal involves superstars DeMarcus Cousins and John Wall that could reunite to the Los Angeles Lakers in a 4-team, 7-player trade deal.
Earlier reports have linked Cousins and Wall to numerous trade deals the past couple of months. However, both players are still with their mother teams and those rumored deal just disappear. 4. Finally, the Los Angeles Lakers will receive DeMarcus Cousins from the Kings and John Wall from the Wizards.
Though the trade is not perfect at some part but overall it is a good deal for everyone. It will give a new perspective to all teams involves in the present and for their future. Clarkson could somehow replace Wall as an able substitute in point guard spot while Okafor will give depth on the frontcourt of the Wizards.
The 76ers will harvest a good return with Russell and it is enticing to see his tandem with Ben Simmons playing off the ball. Meanwhile, if the Kings are making an early rebuild their acquisition is ideal for them having a potential superstar in Ingram plus two future first-round draft pick.
Finally, the Los Angeles Lakers will get two major superstars and arguably the best at this moment. There is no doubt that the Lakers will be skyrocketed as the top contender for the title that will give chills to the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers.
