SFC Firefighters Were Aware Of Ye Meng Yuan's Body Before Hitting Her (VIDEO)

A video released to the public on Tuesday shows the moments after the crash landing of an Asiana Airlines flight in San Francisco, proving at least one firefighter knew 16-year-old Ye Meng Yuan was lying on the grass before being run over twice by a firefighter truck, the Associated Press reported.

In the videos shot through two different cameras: one placed on the helmet of a firefighter and another placed on the top of the truck, a firefighter can be seen telling the driver of one of the trucks that there is a body lying on the floor ahead of him, according to the AP.

Almost 15 minutes after the driver was told there was a girl lying on the floor, the truck is seen running her over, according to CBS, the AP reported. CBS News did not air the scene of the girl being run over by the truck.

A couple minutes after Meng Yuan is run over by the first truck, another truck drives over her body once more, the AP reported. Meng Yuan was concluded to be alive after the plane crash landed, and died only after being run over by the fire trucks.

Meng Yuan's family has filed a lawsuit against the city of San Francisco claiming the firefighters were not properly trained and did not mark the presence of a person lying on the floor who had not yet been determined dead, according to the AP.

"At least five firefighters knew of her presence before she was covered in foam. Nobody examined her, nobody touched her, nobody protected her, moved her or did anything to take her out of harm's way, and then they abandoned her there," one of Yuan's family attorney's Anthony Tarricone said, according to the AP.

Firefighters told investigators they thought the girl was dead and continued moving towards the aircraft, the AP reported.

"This is not a matter of us being careless or callous, it was the fact we were dealing with a very complex environment," Assistant Deputy Chief Dale Carnes told a federal safety board last month, according to the AP.

Yuan was one of three other teenagers who died on the flight, and out of the 307 people on board, 304 survived, the AP reported.
