Vanity Fair reports that Kate Middleton and Prince William's beloved cocker spaniel, Lupo, has not been living at their Kensington Palace residence, Apartment 1-A, since at least the holidays.
The dog was memorably uninvited from family Christmas festivies at the Queen's Sandringham estate in fear he would not get along with her own troublesome brood of corgis known for their bad behavior around other dogs. Instead, Lupo spent the holidays at the Middleton manor in Bucklebury, Berkshire with Carole and Michael Middleton.
Recently, the dog has been seen being taken for walks out in West London by James Middleton and his girlfriend, Donna Air, prompting British tabloids to speculate on why Lupo has not been seen with his royal pet parents and whether or not he is currently living with them. Rumors have been flying that the Duchess is at least four months along with her second child, and some wonder whether Lupo's lack of presence has anything to do with a possible pregnancy, though Palace sources will not confirm or deny the rumors.
Lupo was given to the Duke and Duchess as an early Christmas gift from Kate Middleton's parents back in 2011, bred from their own dog Ella.
