Apple iOS 10.2 is here. The tech giant has managed to deliver it in record time. The most recent update comes with a great secret feature.
The new surprise comes from Apple in the form of a new emoji. There are two new avatars in the package. One is called "Female Singer," and the other is called "Male Singer." While there may be other apps with a singer emoji, this happens to be a bit different.
The singer emoji is apparently inspired by David Bowie, the British singer who passed away in January. The look is strikingly similar to the late singer who was well-known for his androgyny.
However, this is not the only one new emoji in the new OS from Apple. There is much more in the package. Not only that but the existing emojis also have updated designs as well. Apple iOS 10.2 users can use this emojis on their iPod, iPad and iPhone devices.
There are several spectacular avatars like shrug, fingers crossed and facepalm. There are also emojis representing food, animals and sports.
According to Forbes, Apple fans will be most excited the Bowies above all other new emojis. Apple probably kept this as a Christmas surprise for its fans.
The Christmas surprise was, in fact, released on Halloween. The beta version of the most recent update was released to check if there is any glitch before it could be officially released. Apple fans are sure to have an improved experience with the new update.
