After making an impressive appearance at the American Music Awards, Selena Gomez has taken up the reins of her musical career and is all set to make new beginnings. Justin Bieber's ex has signed up with the brand Coach for 10 million dollars and seems intent on rebuilding her career after the hiatus. Love can wait as there does not seem to be room for reconciliation with Bieber.
The ex-lovers, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber do not appear to be in the mood to reunite, reports Hall of Fame Magazine. Both Bieber and Gomez are busy with their career and personal lives. While the "Slow Down" singer is working on her next album, the "Sorry" singer has the "Purpose" tour up his sleeves. Both are single as Bieber admitted about it on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. Gomez might not have made a similar declaration but she is not seeing anyone.
The rehab experience seems to have worked wonders for her health as she seems like a woman in control of her life. Though it was lupus and its depressing side effects that led to her getting into rehab, insiders say that her tumultuous relationship with Justin Bieber also played a major role in her breakdown, claims Hollywood Take. It is said that his antics led to troubles for the 24-year-old singer and she ended up feuding with her friends Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato.
If fans remember, Gomez and Bieber had a nasty fight on social media in August over his then girlfriend Sofia Richie, which led to both of them accusing each other of cheating. Soon after she checked into rehab and sources close to Gomez say that Bieber did contribute to her emotional struggles. When she was with him, she became a changed person. She was very jealous and possessive.
She would behave like she had to keep up with him and for this, she even started smoking and drinking. If that was not enough, she also got into weed and partying. Thankfully, good sense prevailed upon her and she decided it was enough.
Selena Gomez not only rejected the advances of Justin Bieber in March, she is also charged up to revive her tour that got canceled because of her health issues.
