US President-elect Donald Trump took a swipe at President Barrack Obama after the later said he could have defeated the former if he is allowed to run for the third term. Trump said there is no way that Obama could defeat him.
"President Obama said that he thinks he would have won against me. He should say that but I say NO WAY! - jobs leaving, ISIS, OCare, etc," posted Trump on his Twitter account.
The reaction came after Obama said on Monday that he could have beaten Trump in the 2016 US Presidential Elections. Obama also pointed out that Hillary Clinton was a victim of unfair attacks. He also added that he hs laid down a strong winning coalition across the country but the Clinton campaign failed to follow it.
In an interview with CNN analyst David Axelrod, Obama said that among the mistake of the Democrats was abandoning the importance of the white working class. He cited the example of the Obamacare where a huge number of Trump supporters benefited the program but were not actually Obama allies.
"The problem is, is that we're not there on the ground communicating not only the dry policy aspects of this, but that we care about these communities, that we're bleeding for these communities," he said.
