Suspect Wanted in a Series of Shootings Shot Dead

Oklahoma police shot dead a teen suspect wanted in a series of shootings that included two federal agents.

The police said that Henry Jackson, an "armed and very dangerous criminal," was wanted in three separate shootings, all done within a day. He was killed late Thursday.

According to the police, the federal agents found Jackson's silver Ford Taurus in a northeast Ardmore neighborhood around 6:30, Thursday afternoon. He then opened fire and shot the agents and escaped in his silver Taurus, reported NBC affiliate KTen. One agent was rushed to the emergency room while the other was treated on the spot.

Police began a massive manhunt for he 19-year-old Jackson. "Henry Jackson is considered armed and very dangerous," Ardmore Police said in a statement during the manhunt, reported NBC News. Jackson had previously shot a person after an argument at a home on Boyd street Thursday afternoon, police said. However, the victim was taken to a nearby hospital. KTen reported that the police said the woman was in the backseat of a car when a masked man in a black hoodie knocked on the window. He shot her in the arm after she responded to the knocking. Police said no deaths were reported in the shootings but the victims suffered life-threatening injuries.
