Samsung, the South Korean tech giant might be planning for a 2017 model of Galaxy J5 smartphone. The Galaxy J5 (2017) is seen surfacing in a certification filing where the device is running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS along with the Wi-Fi alliance.
According to Galaxy Club report, Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) appeared in the certification filling having a certification Id No. WFA70158. Also, the image of page one of two shows the company name as Samsung Electronics with a date of last certificate mentioning as February 15, 2017.
Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) holds the same product and model number as SM-J530F/DS appearing in the multimode Smartphone category running with Wi-Fi component. Also, it is seen that Galaxy J5 (2017) running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and not an Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.
It is reported that Galaxy J5 (2017) specifications and other features are not known yet and very few of them have been surfaced. The report also mentions that the surfacing of Galaxy J5 (2017) in the certification billing does not mean that it will hit the stores soon and indeed it asks enthusiasts to wait for some more months for other specifications and features until further information on the Galaxy J5 (2017) is out.
