Nicole Kidman just opened up about her broken engagement to someone after her split from Tom Cruise. The actress confessed that the failed engagement was due to her persistence that she was not ready that time.
Kidman had been romantically linked to Lenny Kravitz and Steven Bing, a movie producer after the breakup of her marriage to Cruise. But the actress insisted that she did not actually want a relationship that time.
Apart from that reason she share to Vanity Fair was her interest with her kids. She just wanted to be with her kids and that she was not feeling comfortable sharing the same house with someone. Then all of a sudden, she got engaged which she felt was not right.
Even if she did not directly mention Lenny Kravitz, many people believed that she was referring to him. Nicole Kidman further added that both of them were not ready to enter into a serious commitment that's why it resulted to broken engagement.
As she was sharing details about her new series, "Big Little Lies," she mentioned that she in fact had a history with her co-star Zoe Kravitz. She told the magazine that she knew Zoe because she was once engaged to her father.
After that revelation, she expressed her admiration to Lenny Kravitz as well. She said that she loves Lenny as she considers him a great man putting the broken engagement reports to rest.
Meanwhile, Zoe Kravitz also shared her admiration to the actress. According to her, she found working with Nicole Kidman intimidating because she is a very experienced actress. Zoe even added that Nicole can be quiet and shy but she is also good at the same time distracting.
However, Nicole did not elucidate more regarding the broken engagement. Instead, she enlightened people on her attitude when it comes to matrimony and commitment. Like what she claimed, she is a person who gets engaged then gets married.
Like what has been claimed by some reports, Nicole Kidman and Lenny Kravitz met when she rented his apartment in Manhattan last summer of 2003. After spending some time together at Lenny's Miami home, they split in December 2003.
