It was two years back that Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck officially announced their split and now two years later, it is said that the former is ready to file for divorce. However, they are still on the same page when it comes to their children and would co-parent them together.

Jennifer Garner is finally moving away from estranged husband Ben Affleck and is ready to file for divorce, US Weekly has learned. The 44-year-old actress is said to have made her mind to separate from Affleck but the couple would be there together for their children. Insiders claim that both Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are committed to raising their family as one unit and will continue to do so as it has worked for them.

Notably, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck split in June 2015 and announced to the media that they were calling it quits. However, they did not file for divorce and continued to live under the same roof in order to co-parent their three children. They also underwent couples' therapy to improve their relationship after Ben Affleck was found to be involved in an affair with their nanny, Christine Ouzounian.

In the meantime, sources close to Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck say that despite the divorce filing, their relationship is very fluid and nothing has really changed. According to E! News, they have been working on their relationship for the past few years. They also took multiple trips alone to rebuild things and improve communication.

Their relationship status often led to confusion among fans and many a time they wondered if they had reconciled.
