Shia LaBeouf is back in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. The 27-year-old actor was caught on camera headbutting a guy for allegedly talking trash about his girlfriend's mother. in the video, obtained by TMZ, LaBeouf is seen wearing a white baseball cap yelling in a man's face.
"What'd you say about my girl's mom?" he is reportedly screamed at the man. "Are you f**king kidding me bro?"
The "Transformer" actor then headbutts the man as a girl screams for him to stop. According to TMZ, the altercation took place at a South London bar on Thursday, Jan. 16. It's not clear what the man said to anger LaBeouf.
Afterward the gossip site posted another video of the actor drunkenly offering an apology to a couple people at the bar.
"I'm not trying to have, like, any more problems. Like, I'm really just trying to make peace," he said. "I'm a normal human being. Look, I accept what I get into to do what I love."
"I'm a human being, you know what I mean? I'm super normal. Like more normal than most. When people wanna get hostile, or shit on my girl's mom, or say things that are out of turn," LaBeouf added.
According to TMZ, this isn't the first bar fight the actor has gotten into. In 2012 he got into an altercation at the exact same London bar and in 2011 he was caught on camera fighting with a man outside a bar in Vancouver.
This comes just one week after LaBeouf announced on Twitter that he was retiring from the public eye.
"In light of the recent attacks against my artistic integrity, I am retiring from all public life," he wrote.
He came under fire after he was accused of plagiarizing work from graphic novelist Daniel Crowes, for a short film he was working on called "HowardCantour.com."
In the short film, which stars Jim Gaffigan, LaBeouf didn't credit Crowes but used entire passages from the author's novel "Justin M. Damiano," the New York Daily News reports.
