Brad Pitt made an appearance at this year's Golden Globes and he was welcomed with a standing ovation. It does seem that the industry is saying that they are by his side. But the divorce is said to have taken a toll on the actress' public image that she is struggling to restore.
This year's Golden Globes had Brad Pitt making an appearance to the event to introduce the movie, "Moonlight" for which he was acting as the executive producer. And, he was given a warm welcome with a standing ovation by his peers from Hollywood, The Telegraph reported. Considering the rough patch that he is going through due to his messy divorce from Angelina Jolie, it was not expected that he would attend the event, but he did, surprising many.
And, with the warm welcome that the Oscar-winning actor got at the Golden Globe, it does seem that Hollywood has decided to take his side and not Angelina Jolie's. Notably, the "Tomb Raider" actress had Brad Pitt at the receiving end with false charges of physically and verbally abusing their kid, Maddox during a trip on their private jet.
Meanwhile, it was for the first time that Angelina Jolie opened up about her divorce from Brad Pitt while she was in Cambodia, promoting, "First They Killed My Father" for which she dons the director's hat. According to reports from BBC, the actress revealed that she is trying to cope with her divorce from Brad Pitt and the difficult time as a family and she hopes that it will make her and her kids stronger and closer.
It is worth mentioning here that Angelina Jolie's divorce from Brad Pitt has dented her public image. And, though she is long done with her acting career, the messy divorce has caused serious damage to her image. So, she is now seeking the help of PR agencies, but without much of a help as she has been turned down by most agencies.
