Illumination Entertainment brings back evil villain Gru (Steve Carell) in “Despicable Me 3.” As fans know, Gru left that life behind for Lucy Wilde (Kristen Wiig) along with the three kids Margo (Miranda Cosgrove,) Edith (Dana Gaier) and of course the very adorable Agnes (Nev Scharrel.) Yet, as Gru is destined to meet his brother, Dru… Gru is in for another evil scheme.
According to Slash Film, the previous “Despicable Me 3” trailer introduces, Balthazar Bratt, (Trey Parker) who is a ’80s child star-turned supervillain. Balthazar was revealed to be obsessed with the character that he played while he was little but the show was canceled. But, unfortunately, Gru didn’t catch him and Balthazar successfully got away with the world’s biggest diamond. Hence, Gru and Lucy got fired from their job.
Meanwhile, Illumination Entertainment had recently released another trailer for “Despicable Me 3” per Screen Rant. Gru and family sets to fly in his twin brother’s home. Surprised as he might be, his brother is the total opposite of him. From being bald, Dru has a lavishly flowy hair. Dru also has a sense of fashion and lives in luxury, unlike Gru.
Dru then says that Gru should continue their family’s legacy of evilness. Dru then begs him to return to the dark side. Gru then agrees to go with him in just one evil scheme. Thus, the “Despicable Me 3” twin duo was revealed to venture out in an area full of spikes possibly Balthazar's lair.
But, Gru’s brother didn’t seem quite catch up with Gru’s skills. Yet as the twins spend time together, it was said that they might do everything in their power to defeat the supervillain, Balthazar together on the upcoming “Despicable Me 3” movie.
Furthermore, in the ending of the second “Despicable Me 3” trailer, Gru then speaks to his minions that going out in an evil scheme with his brother doesn’t mean he’ll return to being evil. The minions then booed Gru’s decision and showed him the comparison of his life if he were to continue being evil. Directed by Pierre Coffin, Eric Guillon and Kyle Balda, “Despicable Me 3” is set to tickle viewers this coming June 30, 2017.
