Kate Middleton Admits ‘Lack Of Confidence’ And ‘Feelings Of Ignorance’ In Her Motherhood Journey

It seems like all the mothers around the world share some common concerns and fear about motherhood. Princess of Duchess Kate Middleton is no exception.

According to Us Weekly, Kate Middleton opened up about her own motherhood challenges and what fears her most as a mom of two. She talked about her experiences while introducing the "Out of the Blue" documentary film series.

The documentary focuses on a maternal mental health during the early years of parenthood. Kate Middleton spoke at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologist in an attempt to raise awareness about maternal mental health challenges.

The Princess admitted that becoming a mother has been a rewarding and wonderful experience for her. However, there are times Kate Middleton finds motherhood to be a huge challenge even with all the help and support she gets at home.

Kate Middleton added that nothing can really prepare a person for the overwhelming experience of motherhood. There are complex emotions of joy, exhaustion, love and worry playing all the time.

The proud mother of two stated that there is no "rule book" or "right or wrong" when it comes to motherhood. According to Kate Middleton, one just has to do their very best they can for their children and family.

"For many mothers, myself included, this can, at times, lead to a lack of confidence and feelings of ignorance," Us Weekly quoted Kate Middleton. "Sadly, for some mothers, this experience can be made so much harder due to challenges with their own mental health."

According to Mail Online, she encouraged her audience to seek proper help if they feel their mental health needs it. Kate Middleton added that children need their mothers to be in a good mental and physical health so there is no shame in asking for support.

Kate Middleton's presence is a part of her charity Heads Together. She along with her husband Prince William and brother-in-law Prince Harry have been raising awareness on mental health issues.
