ZTE, the Shenzhen-based Smartphone manufacturer announced a new 'Z Series' smartphone in the Chinese tech market. ZTE nubia Z17 mini is a Smartphone announced by the company which comes loaded with amazing specifications and features in that particular segment. The Smartphone is announced in Black, Gold and Red color options and the Chinese tech market will witness the Smartphone sale starting from April 12, 2017.
According to Nubia, the ZTE nubia Z17 mini features a 5.2-inch LTPS display with 2.5D curved glass having a resolution of 1920 pixels by 1080 pixels and 424ppi pixel density. The device is reported to have a screen, which delivers 1500:1 contrast, 85% NTSC color gamut, and supports multi-touch.
The ZTE nubia Z17 mini Smartphone arrives in two variants with a different combination of processor and RAM under the hood. The first variant comes with an octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor coupled with and 4GB of RAM, whereas, the second variant comes with octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor coupled with and 6GB of RAM. In addition, both the variants are equipped with 64GB of internal storage expandable up to 256GB by inserting a microSD card in a slot given. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with Nubia UI 4.0.
The ZTE nubia Z17 mini offers Hybrid dual SIM slots with an option of inserting micro SIM in one slot and a nano SIM or microSD card in another slot and the Smartphone supports 4G VoLTE. The Smartphone is also equipped with 2,950mAh battery with fast charging support feature.
The ZTE nubia Z17 mini features a 16MP selfie camera with 80-degree wide angle lens, 5P lens and an aperture of f/2.0. On the rear end of the Smartphone, there is a dual camera setup, featuring 13MP Monochrome and 13MP RGB camera snappers. Primary camera features include Sony IMX258 Sensor, F/2.2 Aperture, OIS, Sapphire protection lens, and 4K video recording.
The ZTE nubia Z17 mini comes with different connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, GPS/A-GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, Bluetooth V4.1, NFC and more. It is reported that the device arrives at a starting price tag of 1699 Yuan (US$ 246) for the Standard variant with 4GB RAM. While the 6GB RAM has a price tag of 1999 Yuan (US$ 289).
