Victor is pretty much a celebrity, the origin of the beast may soon be revealed and Gabe and Cat well, um, kissed. Here are my questions from "Ancestors":
No. 1 - How sad are VinCat fans?
It's finally happened. Catherine and Gabe kissed. This was the moment that most likely compounded an entire episode of Vincent and Katherine arguments as VinCat fans looked on in anguish. So, just how long will Catherine and Gabe be together (if they are actually "together")? Moving on to Vincent and Tori. While it appears Vincent has some feelings for the lady beast, Tori really wants this to happen. No matter what you feel about Vincent/Tori, their beast side does provide a connection for the two. The good news for VinCat fans is, as you can see from the preview below, Cat may be getting very jealous in the next episode.
No. 2 - What does the gem do?
As J.T. pointed out, the gem fit into the chain to create some type of collar. I have three guesses as to what the gem does. The first guess is that it acts as beast kryptonite - if you put the collar around the beast he/she becomes powerless. The second is that it amplifies. Maybe the collar forces a beast to go into his/her full form and not be able to revert to human form. Finally, it's possible the collar can change a human into a beast - without the hassle of the long experiments. Agree with any of my theories? Have any of your own? Let me know in the comments below.
No. 3 - Just how much does Dana Maron know?
FBI Agent Dana Maron (Elizabeth Rohm) admitted she was personally connected to the case involving the gem. Her husband was killed because he was helping the FBI investigate artifacts like the gem. Is it possible someone thought Agent Maron's husband learned too much about the beast-related artifacts? How much does Agent Maron know about beasts, if she knows anything at all? Also, how many people are looking for the gem?
No. 4 - How is Cat's family related to the gem?
Agent Maron showed Cat that a woman named Rebecca Reynolds, Cat's family member on her father's side, aided in an investigation into the gem - in 1836. Rebecca aided Scotland Yard when the gem turned up in London all those years ago. Is it possible Cat was somehow destined to have a beast filled-life before she met Vincent? Is it somehow in her blood? How long until we learn about the origin of the beasts?
No. 5 - How long until we learn about the origin of the beast?
The gem somehow connects to where beasts came from. How long until the other artifacts are uncovered and we learn the mystery behind the beast?
