Telltale might have failed to catch audiences' attention in "Tangled Up in Blue" but it is well up-to-the-mark in "Under Pressure." The second episode of the game based on "Guardians of the Galaxy" traces the origin of Rocket Raccoon and it is interesting to watch the story that unfolds at a gentle pace.
The second episode of Telltale's "Guardians of the Galaxy" game "Under Pressure" is out and it takes viewers on a journey delving into the origins of Rocket Raccoon. According to IGN, "Episode 2: Under Pressure" runs into two hours and in keeping with the game developers' prediction, it focuses on one character and this time the character is Rocket Raccoon. It tells his story in detail, revealing the incidents that shaped him into what he is today.
"Episode 2: Under Pressure" also dissects the friendship shared by Rocket and Peter and as a viewer, one does get to see the significance of their bonding. Also, one cannot take sides so easily and that only goes to show the hard work done by the script writers. However, there are flaws as well. The slight revelations about the arc of the season do not unfold in the manner they ought to be. It affects viewers as they follow the plots of the first episode.
As fans know, the trailer of "Under Pressure" released yesterday and it did hint at the events of the first episode, claimed Screen Rant. It showed the reaction of the team to Peter's resurrection and it was evident that the theme of the season is about the team trying to outdo their past. It also hinted at encountering new challenges. The focus on Rocket also indicated players being able to take more control of the character.
It is worth mentioning here that Telltale released the first episode "Tangled Up in Blue" two months back and it did not receive good response from critics and players.
