Latest reports from Samsung confirmed that the company's Galaxy Note 8 will now feature a Bixby personal assistant. But there is a catch since this most awaited feature will only be available to a limited number of users.
Even if it's great news to know that Galaxy Note 8 will already have its Bixby, the sad news is that not everyone can access this yet. This Siri-rival feature is the most anticipated by the Samsung handset users but it looks like it will not come as simple as that.
Samsung's Galaxy S8 arrived in stores early of 2017 and just recently, Forbes reported that the device was recognized and crowned as one of the best smartphones of the year. The said handset has a lot of great features only that the Bixby is missing.
The Galaxy S8 comes with an extremely fast processor and a spectacular Infinity display. What made this device even more prominent and well-loved by the consumers is its improved and enhanced camera but something is not there.
When Samsung unveiled its Galaxy S8, the Korean tech giant admitted that a major feature was actually missing. During the launching of the device, Samsung already announced about how its Bixby personal assistant will be incorporated in it.
Bixby of Samsung was developed like the Siri of Apple and Alexa of Amazon. This has been developed by Samsung in order for the Galaxy S8 users to use their phone using their voice. Moreover, the company also created a Bixby button on the side of the said device which only means that this virtual assistant will soon come.
But when the Samsung Galaxy S8 was made available in the market, some users were disappointed because Bixby was not in the device's prominent features. But the company announced that users will get a full update of this feature later this year.
With this, Samsung also announced that only a limited number of users will get an early access to this Bixby personal assistant in their Galaxy S8. The Korean-based company also made sure that Bixby will help users get more out of their phone in the near future.
