Oklahoma City heads into the AT&T Center looking for their fifth straight win. Even without Russell Westbrook, the Thunder (32-10) continue to win behind NBA leading-scorer Kevin Durant. Three of Oklahoma City's last four games included wins over potential playoff opponents: the Houston Rockets, Golden State Warriors and Portland Trail Blazers.
Durant, who's averaging 30.9 points per game, and company now play another potential playoff opponent on their home court.
"We know how tough it is to win there," Durant said of San Antonio, via ESPN. "We know how tough that team is. You've just got to come prepared and with a lot of energy. I think our group is ready to come out there and play our game, and we'll see what happens."
San Antonio (32-9) sits atop the Western Conference with a half-game lead over Oklahoma City. Unlike the Eastern Conference, the West is competitive - No. 6 Golden State is just seven games behind San Antonio.
The Spurs had their six-game winning streak snapped on Friday in a 109-100 loss at home to Portland. San Antonio bounced back on Sunday against the Milwaukee Bucks and cruised to a 110-82, even with Tony Parker sidelined with a shin contusion.
"We were missing a lot of guys so that was a little worrying, but overall I think we did a good job," Spurs veteran Manu Ginobili said. "Everybody got to play and everybody played well. Guys made shots and it's a good feeling."
The status of Parker, who suffered the shin injury during Friday's game against Portland, is uncertain for Wednesday night.
