Kate Upton Gets Cozy With Ex-Boyfriend Justin Verlander In Bahamas; Gives Vogue A Run For Their Money In Super Bowl Inspired Shoot (PHOTOS)

Supermodel Kate Upton and MLB pitcher Justin Verlander are playing coy, but a secret Bahamas trip together might reveal a rekindling of their past romance, US Weekly reports.

Upton, 21, went on a mini getaway with Verlander, 30, to New Providence Island in the Bahamas. According to US, the pair spent the weekend together looking "cozy," and was caught eating a romantic meal together.

"We spotted them looking very cozy having dinner at the restaurant Mahogany House near Lyford Cay," a source told US.

It is the second time the couple was spotted together since Upton ended her relationship with dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Upton and Verlander recently attended a hockey game together a few days after his surgery. According to E! News, the model wanted to be supportive of Verlander after learning he had to undergo core muscle repair surgery.

"She wanted to be there for him," a source told E! News.

Upton's support during Verlander's recovery might be the spark that rekindled their flame. However, it's only been a month since her reported break up with Chmerkovskiy.

"They are really good friends still and speak all the time, but their schedules just made it too difficult and it fell apart," a source told US in December. "[Chmerkovskiy] has a lot of respect for her, but it just wasn't working anymore."

One thing is certain: Upton loves her athletes. The blonde bombshell has been posing with them since becoming a household name with her first Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition cover.

With the Super Bowl XLVIII around the corner, Vogue recruited Upton in a new NFL inspired photo spread, featuring the New York Giants and New York Jets. The Jets and the Giants didn't make it to the Super Bowl this year, but the game is being hosted in their Met Life Stadium.

A few special guests also made it into Upton's Vogue spread; check out who they are in the photos found here.
