It was previously revealed that Ben Affleck's Batman would be getting a new batsuit. Now according to Latino Review, the Caped Crusader will not only get a redesigned suit but will be rocking TWO different suits in the sequel to "Man of Steel."
"The more interesting thing I've heard is that Batman will actually wear 2 batsuits in the film, but where as the Grey-and Blue has already been designed and Affleck has worn it, the second Batsuit is more armored like the one in 'Dark Knight Returns' and 'Kingdom Come' comics," the website writes.
According to Latino Review, the armored suit will have silver and white plating which is attached to a black undercloth. There's been speculation that Batman will need to wear the armored suit when he comes face-to-face with Superman (played by Henry Cavill). Fans won't have to wait long to see the new suit. Reportedly Warner Bros. is planning on releasing official photos in February or early March.
Recently Affleck's wife, Jennifer Garner, spoke out the new look commenting on how "unbelievably cool " it is.
"I've seen the suit," she said on the red carpet at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. "It's a total reinvention. It looks great."
Kevin Smith has also given the new look his stamp of approval.
"It didn't look like any of the cinematic Batmans that have ever gone before," he said during his podcast Fatman on Batman. "[Director Zack Snyder] shows me that picture and behind Batman... Superman, in the suit, looming in the distance."
"I was like 'Oh my God! Is that the suit? The suit looks amazing! Did you get people to model it?' and he goes, 'That's your boy," Smith added. "And I look closely and it's Ben Affleck wearing the suit."
"Any Batman fan is going to be f**king pleased," he added.
Batman isn't the only superhero rumored to be getting a makeover. There were reports that Wonder Woman (played by Gal Gadot) would ditch the signature spandex look for an armored costume as well.
