Michigan State, ranked No. 7 in the nation, had their 11-game winning streak snapped on Saturday in an 80-75 loss to Michigan. The Spartans (18-2) will be tested on Tuesday to see if they can bounce back against a top-20 team.

"Whether you can regroup and come off an emotional game like that and get ready for arguably one of the best teams in the league on the road, we're going to find out a little bit more about our team. But I like our chances. I really do," Spartans coach Tom Izzo said, via ESPN. "This team pulls for each other better than any other team I've had here."

Sophomore guard Gary Harris leads the team in scoring with 18.8 points per game, and junior swingman Branden Dawson leads the team in rebounds with 8.7 boards per game. Dawson, however, will be sidelined for at least a month with a broken right hand; senior forward Adreian Payne is also expected to miss Tuesday because of a foot injury, according to ESPN.

Iowa (16-4), meanwhile, is ranked No. 15 in the nation. The Hawkeyes bounced back from their 75-67 loss on Wednesday to Michigan with a 76-50 rout of Northwestern on Saturday.

Iowa coach Fran McCaffery, though, playing Michigan State is another story.

"If you're going to win a championship - for any team in this league - you're going to go through Michigan State. That's just the standard that Tom (Izzo) has set," McCaffery said. "There's a respect factor there and a realization that to beat them is something special."
