The Office Of Minority Health recorded a large section of the Asian Americans continue to live in poverty and this is evident from the fact that they constitute about 18 million of the total population in the United States and 5.6% of them are poor.
Divulging this fact, Simon Tizon, a globally-known influencer and entrepreneur, has pledged to help the talented Asian Americans "So that we can create more strong voices for our small percentage of people in America."
According to Tizon who has over 40,000 followers and fans on his Instagram handle, the Asian Americans are one of the most neglected groups of the populace of the United States who are struggling every day to eke out their lives.
In a statement, Tizon said during his inspirational lectures in different parts of the world, he raised this burning issue to draw the attention of the world and tried to help, in his own way, to help the Asian Americans as much as he can.
"I want to help them strengthen their voices globally so that they get heard and also emerge as a successful, vibrant community of America, standing on their own legs," Tizon said.
Carving out an enviable place for himself as an influencer after collaborating with various brands to promote them at an early age, Tizon said though the Asian Americans today are virtually a marginalized community, by and large, they really can create miracles as catalytic agents of growth in the United States.
For this, however, they must be brought out of their present state of poverty to show their mettle and grit thus contributing to the further organic growth of the United States, Tizon who has rated as "Top Entrepreneur To Watch In 2020" said.
Emphasizing that the hard-working and talented Asian Americans can indeed prove themselves if given opportunities, Tizon, said they will certainly become one of the most colorful mosaics of America one day.
Braving all odds and trekking thousands of miles to reach America to fulfill their Great American Dreams, Asians must be given the chance to realize those Dreams that they Dreamt, Tizon said.
Asians migrate to America in search of greener pastures for which they take immense risks, and risk-takers can always achieve great success for themselves and also for the United States which is now their homes away from their far of native homes, Tizon added.
