Google Glass Developers Release Five Different Mini Games For Users (WATCH)

A group of Google Glass developers launched a bundle of mini games on Wednesay Google Glass users can explore during their downtime, PCMag.com reported.

The games shed light into what the glasses can do and what users can look forward to. Some of the games include tennis or shooting at clay pigeons, according to PCMag.com.

"With tons of tiny sensors and a screen that fits neatly above the eye, Glass is an exciting new place to play," the developers announced on their blog. "We hacked together five simple games that experiment with unique features of Glass and demonstrate some of the possibilities for gaming."

The games are built to utilize the glasses structure and design, according to the blog. Many of the games use voice commands to jump directly into each one from the main voice menu, which the developers say is an important theme on Glass in order to minimize the time it takes to go from intent to action.

The five games are all built on voice-activation commands and sensors. In clay pigeon, userx says "pull" to get the orange dot (the clay pigeon) in the air and then "bang" to shoot it, though users might want to be careful about where they play that one, the bang might startle others around them, according to PCMag.com

Another game, Balance, allows the user to move their head to keep rectangle figures from falling over, PCMag.com reported. Another allows users to use their head movements to play Tennis.

The games all require some type of movement or act, which may portray glass users playing games as a little weird to others watching, but if you dont mind looking weird, but prefer to do it silently, Shape Splitter allows users to cut shapes shown on their screen by moving their hand in front of the glasses, PCMag.com reported.

The last of the bunch is Matcher, which allows users to move their heads to find matching cards with same color or shape, sort of like a memory game, according to PCMag.com.

Google Glass owners can download the games on the Glassware store online.
