Shakira smokes cigars and gets sultry with Rihanna in a new video for her single "Can't Remember to Forget You."
Apparently the alluring singers enjoyed shooting the video, directed by Joseph Kahn, who also directed videos for duets like "#Beautiful" by Mariah Cary and Miguel and "Love the Way You Lie" by Eminem and Rihanna, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The video has received over five million views on YouTube since it was posted Thursday night. The song "Can't Remember to Forget You" was released Jan. 13.
Rihanna posted a collage of images from the video on Instagram.
"Me and Latin Queen @shakira," Rihanna wrote.
The song, about longing for someone after a breakup, is the first single off of Shakira's tenth album, titled "Shakira."
The 37-year-old singer, who is returning in February to co-host "The Voice," said the album is dedicated to her boyfriend, Spanish soccer player Gerard Piqué and her son Milan, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Shakira gave birth to Milan in Barcelona last year.
The video starts out with Shakira alone on a bed with white sheets and pillows, then Rihanna appears donning a black bodysuit while the both perform twerk-like movements against separate walls.
Shakira, from Columbia, described in a recent interview with Glamour magazine what it was like working with the 25-year-old "Stay" singer, who is from Barbados.
"Working with her was utopia. She's the sexiest woman on the planet," Shakira told Glamour. "And at the end of the day, we're both just basically Caribbean girls. The chemistry was so good and so real. She taught me dance moves. She was a sweet teacher."
The interview will come out in Glamour's February edition, with Shakira gracing the cover. The album "Shakira" comes out Mar. 25.
