The Jodi Arias murder trial is wrapping up.
Wednesday will be the last day of testimony, according to ABC News. The judge will give her final jury instructions on Thursday, and then the prosecution and defense will begin their closing arguments.
The case is expected to go to the jury for deliberation by Thursday or Friday.
Arias, 32, is charged with first-degree murder and could face the death penalty if convicted. She is accused of murdering ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander in 2008 in Mesa, Arizona. He was shot and stabbed multiple times.
Arias claims she killed Alexander in self-defense.
ABC News also reported on Monday that the jury would not see the police complaint Alexander made after his car tires were slashed due its prejudicial nature. The incident constituted "criminal damage" and occurred four months before his death.
Alexander never reported whom he thought responsible for the slashing.
Over four months have passed since the trial began. Three jurors have already been dismissed in that time; one juror became sick, and another made prejudicial comments to her fellow jurors. Judge Sherry Stephens dismissed the most recent juror last Thursday after police arrested him on April 20, and he told an officer he was a juror in the Arias murder trial.
Once the Arizona jury returns with a verdict, jurors will move into the penalty phase of the trial to determine whether or not she will receive the death penalty. If she does, Arias will become just the fourth woman in Arizona's history to die by lethal injection.
The trial continues on Wednesday.
