Kansas, ranked No. 8 in the nation, heads into Tuesday's contest looking to bounce back from an 81-69 loss to Texas. The Jayhawks (16-5), prior to their loss on Saturday, had won seven straight games.
"We can come down here and play well and lose, that's our league and that's every time you play," Kansas coach Bill Self said, via ESPN. "We didn't give ourselves the best chance and certainly Texas had a ton to do with that."
"It's a long season, we may have gotten caught up," freshman guard Wayne Selden Jr. said.
The Jayhawks continue to enjoy the success of freshman Andrew Wiggins, who leads the team in scoring with 16.0 points per game.
Baylor (16-5), meanwhile, snapped a five-game losing skid with a 76-70 win on Saturday over Oklahoma State.
"Now we're on a one-game winning streak," Bears senior guard Brady Heslip said. "So, we're just thinking about the next game now."
Senior forward Cory Jefferson leads the team in both scoring and rebounds with 12.5 points and 8.4 boards per game.
