Models wearing nothings but Sara Blakely's Spanx collection walked down a runway setting of Spring Fashion Week a couple days before it begins on Thursday, the Associated Press reported.
GS Shop, a global retailer based in Seoul, South Korea, had models in boy shorts, wonderbras and bow ties showcasing the body-forming Spanx which Blakely has made millions with, according to the AP. Victoria's Secret Angel Miranda Kerr was also present for the show.
The models wore Spanx lingerie in white, black and nude tones showcasing the one-piece Spanx made to be worn under a dress of evening wear, along with the Spanx shorts, which can be worn under jeans, pants skirts or shorts, the AP reported.
Some models wore Wonderbras with the one-piece Spanx peekaboo, while some wore pink, blue and animal print inspired pieces, according to the AP.
The Wonderbra, which was founded in 1935, making it a veteran next to Spanx which Blakely began in 2000 and added Manx for men in 2010, the AP reported.
Fashionistas can also expect to see a lot of country Western influenced pieces on this years Fashion Week runway beginning Thursday, according to CNN. Fringe scarves, equestrian-inspired everything and frayed edges will be all over the fashion scene this Spring.
Sheila Aimette, fashion forecaster for the official trend sponsor of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week WGSN, said blanket coats and ruffles will definitely have their place on the runway this year, CNN reported.
