‘The Biggest Loser’ Winner Rachel Frederickson ‘Too Skinny’? Victor Defends 155-Pound Weight Loss

"Biggest Loser" Season 15 winner Rachel Frederickson is proud of her weight loss journey and said she has no regrets despite all the criticism she's been receiving. During the Feb. 4 season finale, the 24-year-old voiceover artist from Los Angeles was crowned the winner after dropping 155 pounds.

In the seven-and-a-half months Frederickson was on the show, she went from 260 pounds to 105 pounds and dropped from a size 20 to a 0/2. Viewers raised concerns that Frederickson might have taken the weight-loss journey too far. Others thought she might have developed an eating disorder.

During a conference call with reports, the victor said she "never felt this great" and was choosing to focus on her new life instead of the criticism, E! News reports.

"First and foremost, my goals are to be healthy and strong. I've been an athlete since I was a little girl. I went on 'The Biggest Loser' to find that confidence that I lost," she said. "I'm embracing this new part of the journey."

"I've never felt this great and it's very exciting," she said adding that she wanted to change her exercising routine. "Now I'm really in maintenance mode, so now it's going to be about finding either doing a yoga class this day or a spin class this day. I think I'm even going to try dance classes, because I don't have a lot of rhythm but I feel like it'd be a lot of fun to just add totally new things in."

Frederickson said she followed the trainer's workout and nutritional guidelines while on the show and eats 1,600 calories a day. According to E! when she was asked how she felt about the reports claiming she was "too skinny" now, she danced around the question.

"You know, I think I have been on this seven-and-a-half month journey on 'The Biggest Loser' and I went to 'The Biggest Loser' to find that confident girl again," she said in response. "I was that national-level athlete and I lost her and I missed her and, little by little, competition by competition, I saw her come out and I loved being in that triathlon and win that to be in the finale."
