Kamala Harris just gave the best response to questions about Joe Manchin's decision not to support Joe Biden's Build Back Better bill.

Earlier this week, the vice president appeared in the "Face of the Nation," where she said that the goal is to get things done. Harris also said that the stakes are just too high for the blame to be placed on a single individual.

"I don't have any personal feelings about this. This is about - let's get the job done. Let's get it done. You don't give up. That's how we do it. We don't give up. That's how," Harris said via CBS News.

Joe Manchin won't support Build Back Better bill

On Sunday, Manchin announced that he would not be supporting the Build Back Better bill. A day later, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said that Joe Biden and the Senate Democrats wouldn't stop until they get the West Virginia senator to change his mind.

But when Manchin heard this, he became upset. He said that the problem is that the Democrats and the staff at the White House think they can pressure him into favoring the bill.

The senator also said he had been far apart philosophically with Democratic leaders for months. And there are also fears that he could switch from being a Democrat to an independent or even a Republican member, according to The Guardian.

Harris also weighed in on the child tax credit legislation and said she thinks it should be extended.

Kamala Harris praised for her response regarding Joe Manchin

After her interview aired, several Harris supporters took their thoughts to Twitter to praise the vice president for her response.

One of them said that women get the job done, while men play games, deceive, and manipulate others to gain power.

Another Harris supporter said that she loves the vice president and thinks America is on the right path because of her. One Harris supporter thinks that the veep is adorable but doesn't understand why it was necessary to bring up Manchin when talking about the Build Back Better bill.

Kamala Harris accused of being a bully

The praises and support that Harris received seem like a far cry to the criticisms thrown her way in recent weeks.

Earlier this month, the vice president was accused of being a bully by her former staffers. They also claimed that Harris' staff has been quitting their post because of her inability to mince words.

There were also instances wherein Harris would attend engagements even though she was unprepared and would blame her staff for her own mistakes. Harris was also accused of being an opinionated critic and someone who lacks confidence, according to Business Insider.

The vice president did not respond to the allegations, just like how she ignored claims that she and Joe Biden are at odds with each other. But earlier this week, Harris told Charlamagne tha God she and Biden are working together to get things done. Even though the past year has been challenging, the POTUS and Harris won't give up.
