Singer Mariah Carey debuted her new single "You're Mine" at the 2014 BET Honors wearing a plunging, very revealing black gown.
Audiences are yet to decide which was more mesmerizing - Mariah Carey's performance on her new single "You're Mine" or the plunging neckline of the black gown she wore during the performance. The diva delivered the first live performance of the track at 2014 BET Honors, which took place at the Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C. Saturday, February 8.
Channeling the sultry Jessica Rabbit, Carey donned the black breast-baring ensemble for the performance. She teamed the dress with long black gloves and a dazzling diamond necklace. As the 43-year-old singer slid from on top of a piano, many in the audience thought she would "pop-out" any moment. Miraculously, Carey avoided any wardrobe malfunctions and her performance was touted to be the most "eye-popping" event of the evening, according to Huffington Post.
Before the performance, Carey offered a sneak-peak of her ensemble to her 1.4 million followers on Instagram.
"At Rehearsals for the #BEThonors#GLambly," she captioned the photograph, which showed her glam squad providing the finishing touches.
This year's BET Honors also featured performances from several stars including Jennifer Hudson who paid tribute to Aretha Franklin, Tamar Braxton who sang Diana Ross' "Upside Down" for Motown legend Berry Gordy and Janelle Monae who delivered an energetic performance of the Jackson 5's "I Want You Back".
This is not the first time Carey has shown quite a little bit of skin this week. Earlier, she posted another Instagram picture that showed her posing in a lacy yellow bra and a flimsy sarong.
"Working in my most favorite environment clearly having a bad hair day.. Haaaaaa," she captioned that picture, which garnered more than 51 thousand likes.
