Following Billie Eilish's recent concert where she paused to help a fan, Kanye West has stated that he would not attend Coachella until she apologizes to Travis Scott.
It can be recalled that the event in November, where Travis Scott performed, resulted in the deaths of ten people. Earlier this month, Billie Eilish halted her own show when she saw a fan in distress, and she appeared to mock Travis Scott.
Kanye West Threatens To Pull Out of Coachella
She instructed medical personnel to assist the fan before requesting that other concertgoers make room for the fan to restore their calm. Billie Eilish told the fans, "I wait for people to be OK until I keep going."
The crowd erupted in applause as she made her remarks, and she carried on with her performance. Kanye West seemed to be offended by her acts. In recent weeks, Kanye West has also aimed at his estranged wife Kim Kardashian. The reality TV star's daughter North has been permitted to submit videos on TikTok, but the singer isn't happy, as per Mirror via MSN.
The 'Happier Than Ever' singer responded to Kanye West's demand that she apologize for what he believes was the singer shading Travis Scott at one of her gigs, and she's claiming he's got it twisted. Eilish, who is also scheduled to headline Coachella in April, commented in the comments area not long after West's post, stating she never said anything about Travis Scott as she was just helping a fan. Eilish asked a distraught fan if they needed an inhaler at a concert in Atlanta on Feb. 5.
Many others interpreted Scott's words as a slam on him for continuing to play despite the chaos that erupted at his Astroworld performance in Houston last November when ten people were killed in what officials characterized as a "chaotic incident."
Scott spoke up after the Astroworld catastrophe and denied knowing that people were in pain while he played in an hour-long interview. During his performance, Scott, who was initially scheduled to headline Coachella but was subsequently canceled due to the tragedy at his show, denied hearing any signals of distress from the crowd, according to ET Online.

Astroworld Victim's Family Mocks Kanye West's Demand to Eilish
Meanwhile, when asked what they thought of Kanye West's threat to pull out of Coachella until Travis Scott obtained an "apology" from Billie Eilish, the grandparents of Astroworld's youngest victim didn't hold back. Ezra's grandma, Tericia Blount, said West should be applauding Eilish rather than slamming her after she halted a show in Atlanta on Saturday to assist a fan who was having trouble breathing, Yahoo Entertainment reported
Billie Eilish returned to Washington, DC, on Wednesday night, approximately 700 days after she was originally slated to perform at Capital One Arena. Absence makes the heart grow not only fonder but stronger for Eilish and her fans. The singer's every whisper and scream, their applause as thunderous as her bass-heavy songs, appeared to captivate the packed audience of young people - some of whom were old enough to watch the event from their parents' shoulders.
As a result of her recent stay in Washington, DC, she's been on a bit of the pop sensation; the 20-year-old singer-songwriter has been busy in 2019. She starred in a documentary about her life, 'Act I' and 'Happier Than Ever' last summer, which was stunning and avoided a sophomore slump. She also survived a few social media teapot storms.
Eilish's most recent album is a Bildungsroman that is both candid and self-love. Her struggles with fame, friendship and love, and what it means to be a young woman in this smartphone-addled age are all explored in the music video, as per The Washington Post via MSN.
