Joey King announced her engagement to her director lover Steven Piet on Instagram on Tuesday.
Just one week after the proposal, which occurred on their third anniversary as couple, the 22-year-old actress shared a carousel of photos to social media.
With difficult terrain and the region's twisted trees visible in the distance, it seemed as if Joey and Steven were on vacation at Joshua Tree National Park. King happily flaunted her new jewelry, which she paired with a black manicure, to her over 20 million Instagram followers.

Steven claimed the weather was "less than ideal" for the proposal, but it was a "perfectly imperfect" day to ask his best friend to spend the rest of their lives with him. He produced and directed two of the season's episodes, "Free" and "Plan B," for Hulu's The Act, where she appeared as Gypsy Rose Blanchard.
Joey dated her Kissing Booth co-star Jacob Elordi for a year before her romance with Piet, but the couple secretly split in 2018 before filming the sequel or third installment of the iconic adolescent rom-com. Turning a stone on its side to create an east-west design is one of the most popular engagement-ring styles for 2022. King stated that Piet had proposed a month before, on February 2nd, Daily Mail reported.

While the public has just recently learned of the couple's engagement, it turns out they've already been enjoying their new position as husband and wife-to-be for a few weeks. Piet proposed to King on February 2, making her "the happiest lady alive," according to King's Instagram caption, as per Aol.
