During a ceremony to commission the Navy's newest nuclear submarine, President Joe Biden experienced another brain cramp, claiming that the first lady previously served as Vice President during the Obama administration.

After being designated as the sponsor of the USS Delaware during her commissioning in Wilmington, Delaware, on Saturday, President Joe Biden praised his wife Jill Biden for her work and devotion to military families.

US President's Fresh Blunders

Republicans have blamed Biden's cognitive deterioration for the current administration's backtracking on the president's other recent linguistic gaffes, like informing US troops in Warsaw, Poland, that they were about to travel to Ukraine before hinting that the US may use chemical weapons against Russia.

In late March, Biden urged for a change of government in Moscow, saying, "For God's sake, this man [Putin] cannot remain in power."

Biden commissioned the USS Delaware, a nuclear assault submarine, on Saturday, claiming it will improve national security though he made no mention of the worldwide upheaval caused by Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The First Lady was picked as the submarine's sponsor, a position that is said to bring good luck to the vessel.

The President also lauded his wife's performance at the event. When discussing his wife's accomplishments as the US's second lady, the President made the mistake of incorrectly stating that she was vice president, Dail Mail reported.

Another blunder by the president was viewed as a considerably more hazardous error when he attacked Vladimir Putin without fully comprehending the consequences. Biden stated in an address that Putin "cannot continue in power," which analysts believe could prolong the conflict in Ukraine.

The comment reportedly enraged Moscow officials, who said it might be taken as an attempt by the US to destabilize Putin's administration. During a speech commemorating Equal Pay Day, the president apparently mistook VP Kamala Harris for his wife Jill, as per The Sun.

Joe Biden's Capacity To Lead the US Is Questioned

Biden's European journey was coming to a close, and he had captured some compelling photos that countered the myth that his administration had been lost at sea. However, nine impromptu words in Warsaw raised new doubts about Biden's ability to lead the West in its standoff with Vladimir Putin.

They can't believe their good fortune in the Kremlin. Putin recently warned Russians that the US was attempting to cancel Russia and his administration. Putin's spokeswoman immediately accused Biden of undermining Russian democracy, claiming that only Russian voters have the power to elect the country's leader.

White House officials are well aware of the hazards that Biden's statements have generated as they clean up another Biden catastrophe. Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary for the Kremlin, stated last Monday that Putin would only deploy nuclear weapons if he saw an "existential threat" to Russia. Putin might readily apply such interpretation to Biden's remark.

The President's blunder will also hurt his efforts to persuade skeptics to accept America's position that the crisis in Ukraine is a proxy war between democracies and autocracies. When the UN General Assembly voted earlier this month, 35 nations refrained from choosing a side. The President's remark does little to persuade them to change their minds.

The Allies are concerned. Biden's portrayal of Putin as a 'butcher' might be perceived as a hazardous act of escalation, French President Emmanuel Macron said on Sunday, according to INews.
