Hunter Biden's Secret Service detail doles out around $30,000 a month to protect the President's son. A report mentions the service costs taxpayers to house the first son, including rental for agents assigned to him.

This cost has been piling up for a year to pay for renting out a California mansion way out in Malibu. A statement by ABC News was reported last Monday, which comes after the controversy over the laptop.

Secret Service Spends Huge for Hunter Biden

According to the story's facts, Hunter pays $20,000 a month for the mansion while the agents rent a fancy pad for $10,000 close to the one under protective watch, reported Newsmax.

Like the contents of the laptop, Biden's son has managed to draw the lens of the media. The first son is oblivious that his business and tax affairs are being scrutinized, which might lead to a probe.

According to the New York Post, Hunter Biden's laptop, which he left at a repair shop in October 2020, stored emails, text messages, photos, and financial documents between Hunter, his family, and business associates. This would imply that the first son promoted his father's political influence for his gain.

The swanky Malibu mansion rented by Hunter had a pen floor layout, high vaulted ceilings, a chef's kitchen, and French doors characterize this four-bedroom, three-bathroom "resort-style" home.

Outside, the mansion's yard includes a pool, a spa, a built-in BBQ bar, and outdoor dining.

Housing for Hunter Biden's secret service detail is a Spanish-style estate that has six bedrooms and baths, a gymnasium, and other luxurious amenities that include a pool and spa, costing taxpayers $30-K monthly.

Hunter's Secret Service Detail

A retired senior Secret Service agent, Don Mihal, said the one assigned to them would choose where to live, while the service will have to do with what the present security detail stays in.

But he defended the choice of living space, explaining that it was optional in past administrations before, but it cannot be avoided due to the high market prices.

Mihal added that the secret service is also doing the same thing to protect the other residences of President Biden located at Wilmington and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

He added that having a command post in another area is not practical; they won't be able to do their job.

In response to this, Craig Holman, a government affairs lobbyist at Public Citizen, a progressive good-government group, said that the Secret Service detail could help taxpayers reduce expenses by eliminating superfluous travel and providing their residences free.

He added that the first son should realize Malibu isn't cheap and find somewhere else to live. Something is needed to bring the costs to an acceptable level.

Furthermore, Hunter should not be a weight on taxpayers and take in his protection detail at home nor have the secret service pay rent for a cottage. This new bombshell about Hunter Biden's secret service detail has caught fire and another controversy again.
