The buildup to WrestleMania XXX is gathering pace as Hulk Hogan has been locked in for a return to the company prior to the biggest pay-per-view of 2014, Philly.com reported.
WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has been booked to return to WWE TV for the first time since 2007 at the 2/24 WWE Raw taping in Green Bay, Wisconsin, according to Philly.com.
WWE Raw will premiere the day after the Elimination Chamber leading into the launch of the WWE Network, Philly.com reported.
The night is shaping up to be an absolutely colossal edition of Raw, Philly.com reported. The launch has been long awaited and the company is trying to make the launch night of the WWE Network huge, according to Philly.com.
The Undertaker is also rumoured to be booked that night, too, via PWMania.com. That would ensure plenty of viewings and plenty of excitement in anticipation of WrestleMania XXX, Philly.com reported.
It has not been made clear how Hogan will participate in the event, but with all the talent in the WWE, he might not be actively wrestling inside the ring, according to Philly.com.
Philly.com contacted someone within WWE for confirmation of any of these returns. The source said that most people in the company are kept in the dark on things until they absolutely have to know. This appears to one of those instances.
Due to his leave of seven years, whatever role he takes on will most likely grab plenty of headlines, Philly.com reported.
