Elon Musk wants to bring back the "maximum fun" to Twitter, which he recently bought, as he leads by example with a flurry of witty tweets.

The world's richest man, who bought Twitter for $44 billion, has been embroiled in a free speech debate ever since the news of his takeover was announced, per Newsweek.

Since the announcement of his $44 billion purchase of Twitter, the world's richest man has been entangled in a free speech debate. Musk was defending himself in this matter, attempting to define what he means by free speech. He now seems to be drifting away from the topic and cracking jokes at his followers.

Next Purchase: Coca-Cola

He recently quipped that he wanted to acquire Coca-Cola to 'put the cocaine back in,' as the eccentric billionaire engaged in a series of Twitter back-and-forths during his $44 billion acquisition of the site. In a late-night tweet Wednesday, the Tesla and SpaceX entrepreneur joked, "Next I'm buying Coca-Cola to put the cocaine back in."

The early recipe for Coca-Cola included coca leaves, from which popular party drug cocaine is derived.

Back in the day, Coca-Cola bottles were believed to have contained 3.5 milligrams of cocaine - an ingredient that remained present in the drink until it was removed by the company in 1903, according to a report from Daily Mail.

"Let's make Twitter maximum fun!" he tweeted to his 87.2 million Twitter followers, making his new objectives known.

Musk began replying to other tweets with his humorous take, furthering his endeavor to bring "maximum fun" back to the 16-year-old social media platform.

Musk then teased a BBC News piece about climate change with the heading "Don't let doom win, project advises worriers." Musk mocked the article by answering with an image of the Doom video game franchise, picking up on the keyword.

The New Twitter owner has made it apparent to his followers that he cannot work miracles and has reminded them that he recently pledged to acquire McDonald's and repair all of the fast-food chain's ice cream machines.

Musk's Concept of Free Speech

The 50-year-old multi-billionaire Musk had previously attempted to explain his notion of free speech and his Twitter objectives.

"By "free speech," I simply mean speech that complies with the law; I am opposed to censorship that goes beyond the law," he tweeted and then pinned on the top of his Elon Musk Twitter page.

His other well-liked tweet stressed that everyone would be upset in the same way.

To earn public trust, Twitter must become "politically neutral," Musk argued, which essentially means "upsetting both the far right and the far left equally."

Musk is the wealthiest man in the world, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, with a net worth of $257 billion. He founded Tesla, SpaceX, and other companies like Neuralink, which develops brain implant technology, and The Boring Company, which builds tunnels.
