Born Dec. 21, 1977, Macron also became the youngest president in French history at age 39 in 2017. He is also recognized as the first French president born after the establishment of the Fifth Republic in 1958.

He Worked As A Banker
Macron started his career in public service by working for the French Ministry of Economy and Finance as a finance inspector in 2004, per Britannica. Macron took a job as an investment banker with Rothschild & Cie Banque, the French part of the international Rothschild banking business, in October 2008. He had only been a banker for four years at the time.
He Studied In Prestigious French Schools
Macron studied philosophy at Paris Nanterre University before graduating from école Nationale d'administration with a master's degree in public affairs from Sciences Po. Both of these schools are among the most distinguished in France.
He Married His High School Teacher
Macron is wedded to Brigitte Trogneux, Emmanuel's high school acting teacher. He has seven grandkids by marriage, thanks to Brigitte's three children from a previous marriage per US News. Brigitte is his senior by 24 years.
Macron met Trogneux when he was 15, according to French writer Anne Fulda's book Emmanuel Macron: A Perfect Young Man. Macron promised to marry her at the age of 16.
