According to a video with almost a million views on YouTube, Johnny Depp's children have testified against Amber Heard in the former couple's ongoing defamation trial.

On May 7, 2022, YouTube entertainment outlet PopJuice released a video titled Johnny Depp's Children Speak Out Against Amber Heard In Court. The video is an example of mislabeled content since its title indicates that Depp's children had testified in court during the defamation case.

As seen in the live recordings and press accounts from the trial, none of his children have taken the stand. PopJuice's compilation video largely comprises statements Johnny Depp and Amber Heard made throughout the trial about his children, as well as other news from the court.

Potential Witnesses in Johnny Depp-Amber Heard Trial

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard both produced a list of potential witnesses for their respective teams ahead of the trial. They each submitted objections to some of the other side's witnesses, thus the ultimate list of witnesses will change as the case progresses.

Because the judge presiding over the case had to attend an unrelated conference, the trial has been put on hold for a week. The trial will continue on May 16, with final arguments slated for May 27. According to The Independent, the following persons have been listed as prospective witnesses:

1. Ellen Barkin

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas co-star Barkin and Johnny Depp are thought to have dated in the 1990s. During the UK trial following Johnny Depp's lawsuit against The Sun, lawyer Sasha Wass brought up a statement by Barkin in which she said Depp had tossed a bottle of wine across a hotel room. According to the statement, Depp had gotten jealous and enraged.

2. Whitney Henriquez

Amber Heard's sister, Henriquez, is mentioned as a possible witness on Heard's side. In the 2020 dispute between Depp and The Sun, Henriquez presented written testimony in which she stated that she "felt nauseous" when she learned of Depp and Heard's engagement.

3. Debbie Depp

Christi Dembrowski, one of Johnny Depp's two sisters, testified on behalf of her brother in April. Debbie Depp, his other sister, has not yet testified although she is on Heard's list of possible witnesses and may speak when the trial continues.

4. Elon Musk

The Tesla CEO was named as a possible witness for Heard, and he was scheduled to testify by video connection. On the 28th of April, however, a person close to the issue stated that he would not be testifying. As part of the Virginia defamation action, Depp's attorneys obtained some of Musk's previous contacts with Heard.

5. James Franco

Heard's possible witnesses included the actor, who was slated to testify via video connection. Franco has been subpoenaed by Depp's side for some of his previous contacts and papers relating to his relationships with Heard.

6. Paul Bettany

Depp's list of prospective witnesses included the actor, but he is no longer anticipated to testify. Bettany's interactions with Depp were subpoenaed by Heard's team, as per Newsweek via MSN.

What May Happen in theTrial?

A Virginia jury will decide whether Johnny Depp and Amber Heard will be held accountable for millions of dollars in damages in their dueling defamation claims. A jury must also decide whether she should be held liable for millions of dollars in damages. The 'Aquaman' actress, who dated Depp and was married to him for 15 months, faces no jail time because she is only facing civil claims, not criminal accusations.

The jury might begin deciding the fate of the estranged couple as early as May 27 following closing statements. According to a source close to Heard's legal team, the jury might be unconvinced by either side and decide that neither Depp nor Heard should be granted damages.

If the jury decides that Heard should not be held liable in Depp's lawsuit, she will be able to reclaim her legal bills from Depp. According to the sources, the sum would be established by a judge at a later date, New York Post reported.
