Moscow says the West allegedly engineered the Ukrainian conflict via orchestrated events that would force the Kremlin to respond. Western countries formalized the undeclared war to start a proxy war allowed by President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Russia claims it was not planning but was provoked by Kyiv and its alleged masters in the West.

Moscow Defends Itself From Western Expansion

Nikolay Patrushev, the secretary of the Russian Security Council, remarked last Tuesday that Russia is under threat from the West, reported RT.

He called the western pretext intentional to actualize the undeclared war via its proxy, Ukraine.

The special military operation was a reaction to counter any military action of the Western alliance and Ukraine. Before Moscow's military operation, the very statehood of Russia was threatened, the security chief says.

Patrushev said at a meeting that he called it an unprecedented geopolitical crisis that is via Western-led disruption of global security and international law, broken intentionally.

He added actions that aren't constructive, like diplomatic overtures, have turned into military expansion by the US and its allies. The sponsoring of the violent agenda of the Ukraine government to carry out an all-out assault in the Donbas in eastern Ukraine, noted Fars News.

The US Wants Regime Change

A Russian official says that the West is violating a former agreement by installing a western lackey as the head of Russia; it was done successfully in Kyiv and other eastern European states.

Moscow undertaking the military operation on February 24 stopped this threat to Russia; the West wanted to bring down the state and its existence caused by the Ukrainian conflict.

Engaging illegal sanctions with a global anti-Russian campaign launched by the Americans and their satellites; is proof that Ukraine is a proxy for the US to engage Russia indirectly. Furthermore, the US wants complete, but the Kremlin stands in the way.

Adding the situation in Ukraine illustrates that the collaborative West's neoliberalism is morphing before our eyes into the worldview of neoliberal fascism, with the main goal of eliminating the Russian world, noted Bangladesh Beyond.

Patrushev reiterated Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, who had said earlier last Tuesday that the concept of "unfriendly states" regarding the West is not completely accurate. They are hostile states because that's what they do is make war. Pentagon is supposed to be training and recruiting terrorists for deployment to Ukraine.

According to Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), the US has been "trying to recruit" terrorists to take up arms in Ukraine, proving Washington's intention to use any means of achieving its geopolitical goals, mentioned Almanar News.

The Russian intelligence service points to the al-Tanf American military base in Syria close to the Jordanian and Iraqi borders.

According to sources, the base and its environs have evolved into a terrorist "center" in which up to 500 ISIS and other mujahideen can be fully trained at the same time.

SVR asserted that 60 ISIS militants were transferred to al-Tanf a month ago after getting released from Syrian Kurdish-controlled jails. They will be transferred to Ukrainian territory.

The SVR said the militants are instructed to use anti-tank missile systems, reconnaissance and strike drones, advanced communications, and surveillance equipment during one training course.

Moscow calls out the West for causing the Ukrainian conflict to provoke Russia so it could attempt to take down Vladimir Putin via an alleged regime change.
