The Biden administration appears to be primarily concerned with infrastructure investment while many economists warn that extra stimulus will merely exacerbate inflation, which is expected to reach an all-time high of 8.5 percent in March 2022. Delaware: Residents will soon receive tax relief as well. The $300 rebate for individuals and $600 for joint filers is intended to assist offset the growing cost of items like petrol and food as a result of inflation.
Maine: Citizens might receive a relief check as soon as June, according to a recently enacted $1.2 billion state budget. Individuals might receive $850, while the typical household receives $1,700. Those who qualify must have a federal adjusted gross income of less than $100,000 if filing single or married and filing separately, $150,000 if filing as head of household, or $200,000 if filing jointly.

California: Gov. Gavin Newsom introduced an $18.1 billion budget measure with targeted inflation relief last week. Among the funds are $400 checks to help individuals manage the rising cost of gas, $2.7 billion for emergency rental assistance, and $1.4 billion to aid Californians with past-due utility bills.
Illinois: Residents will get payments of up to $400 this year. Payments of $50 or $100 will be made depending on the number of dependents in a family. Families can receive up to three $100 tax credits. Within the state, the city of Chicago is also issuing prepaid gas and transit cards to citizens to assist them in covering the growing costs of these services.
Colorado: A tax credit of $400 for individuals and $800 for joint filers is available to 3.1 million full-time state residents. They will be based on state tax reports due by May 31, 2022. And the funds will be distributed in August or September.
