A refrigerator wrapped in biohazard tape was removed from a property previously linked to Harmony Montgomery's reportedly violent father by FBI agents charged with finding her.
On Tuesday afternoon, investigators were seen moving the refrigerator out of the New Hampshire house, covering it in biohazard tape, and loading it and a host of other goods into a truck.
Harmony Montgomery Investigation Update
The girl resided with her father, Adam Montgomery, and his father's estranged wife, Kayla Montgomery, in this house. Harmony Mongomery who was five at the time, went missing between November 28 and December 10, 2019, while staying with her father in a second-floor unit at the property. She wasn't reported missing until November 2021, two years after she was last seen alive.
This is the second time the property has been searched by investigators. Authorities examined the house and garden on January 4, and an overhead footage showed a crime scene tent set up in the rear. Harmony Montgomery, who was blind in one eye, was with her father at the time of her abduction after her mother, Crystal Sorey, lost custody due to drug abuse concerns in July 2018.
Adam Montgomery, 31, has been in detention since January on a charge of second-degree assault involving his daughter, which includes neglecting to have her in his control and endangering her welfare. He is not being held responsible for her disappearance, Daily Mail reported.
He was charged again in April with taking a firearm and a shotgun before Harmony Montgomery's abduction. His estranged wife, 31, has been charged with welfare fraud after using the child's identity to apply for food stamps after she was last seen alive.
Harmony Montgomery was missing in 2019 but wasn't reported missing until December 2021. Harmony's father Adam and his separated wife Kayla cut off all connection with their relatives, and Child Protective Services made a series of mistakes, leaving Harmony Montgomery's mother and family in the dark.

The inquiry had been centered on a property on Gilford St. in Manchester, New Hampshire, where Harmony was last seen, until Tuesday. According to police reports obtained by The Sun through a public records request, officers came to the residence at least 16 times between January 2019 and January 2020.
Adam's alleged illegal activities continued roughly four miles away on Union St., where he and Kayla lived for a time until they split up. In March 2021, the father, who is presently in jail, reportedly pursued Kayla and was eventually apprehended. Three children were listed in the arrest report. All of their information was deleted except their ages, but none of them matched Harmony Montgomery's.
According to the complaint, Kayla said to the officers that she misplaced her key and kept the back door and window of her house open. The Massachusetts DCF records revealed that Harmony Montgomery spent most of her childhood traveling between her mother's care and the Department of Children and Families.
Adam took custody of the young girl in 2019 when she was about five years old. Harmony's disappearance has been restricted to November 28 to December 10, 2019, according to investigators. Adam, 31, is being arrested on felony second-degree assault charges related to an alleged assault on Harmony in 2019. He has not, however, been charged in the child's disappearance.
A misdemeanor charge of interference with custody and two misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child are also pending against the 31-year-old. Michael, Adam's brother, informed the police that his brother was physically violent to Harmony and had given her a black eye.
Harmony, who was five years old at the time, was apparently outraged by Adam since she was supposed to be monitoring her baby brother when he began crying, which enraged the father. Adam allegedly smacked his daughter, forced her to stand in the corner for hours, and forced her to scrub a toilet with her toothbrush, according to the uncle.
Authorities would not disclose details about any evidence recovered, he said, in order to "protect the integrity of the ongoing investigation." A spokesperson for the state attorney general's office said Tuesday evening that investigators would remain on scene into the evening, but warned against "any speculation related to items being removed," as per Fox News.
In June 2019, Johnathon and Blair Miller began fostering Harmony's younger brother Jamison, whom they formally adopted in November. They volunteered to take Harmony in several times to reconcile the siblings, but they were never given the chance. Kevin Montgomery, Adam Montgomery's uncle who reported suspicions of child abuse to detectives but has since relocated out of state, claimed he was unaware of any developments.
