Socia media users allege that a clip depicts a Russian hypersonic Kinzhal missile obliterating an underground Ukrainian weapons storage facility. It turned out that the clip was produced using a video editing software.

The video begins with a scene of a field in a remote location, followed after two seconds by a dazzling flash of light and an explosion. According to a tweet posted the video, a Russian Kinzhal missile was deployed today to demolish a Ukrainian weapons storage 136 meters below. It was traveling at 12,000 kph, 10 times the speed of sound. The shock of an American reporter who saw this is captured on video.

Viral Video Misleads Viewers Over Russia-Ukraine War

At the time of writing, the video has had over 98,000 views. The video clip is available in an archived form. Numerous comments claim that viewers were misled into believing that the video was real and was shot in Ukraine, as per Reuters. A computer-generated imagery (CGI) and visual effects (VFX) artist going by the pseudonym InsanePatient2 first released the footage, which was produced using a video editing software.

Meanwhile, a video showing a real stray Russian air defense missile from a volley that was launched in the Luhansk region flipping 180 degrees in midair and crashing into virtually the same spot as where it was launched has also surfaced. According to reports, the video was shot early this morning close to the town of Alchevsk, which is located approximately 55 miles south of Severodonetsk, the scene of the hardest battle.

According to reports, pro-Russian rebels in Ukraine from the breakaway Luhansk People's Republic operated the air defense missile system, which may have been an S300. Although it is doubtful, some have speculated that the issue may have been caused by a hovering Ukrainian drone jamming or hacking the system.

The missile is shown in the video bursting violently upon contact and spraying the vicinity with a brilliant cascade of sparks. This is believed to be the result of the missile's fuel exploding because it was not used during flight, as per Daily Mail. A fire started from the location not far from residential structures, according to accounts in the local media. There were no reports of Russian or rebel soldiers being hurt in the accident.

In 2018, a malfunctioning US-made Patriot air defense missile that was being used to intercept ballistic missiles launched by Yemen's Houthi group struck a civilian neighborhood in northeastern Riyadh. Russia's much-heralded anti-aircraft missile systems have had difficulty neutralizing Ukraine's use of loitering drones to attack targets during the three-month conflict, most notably the Turkish Bayraktar TB2 drone.

Russia Prepares For Deadly Nuclear System

However, Russia has been using its concentrated artillery barrages with far better effectiveness, using them to gradually drive Ukrainian troops in Severodonetsk back at the expense of essentially razing the city to the ground. Per The Sun, Vladimir Putin announced that Russia is getting ready to use its lethal "Prometheus" hypersonic nuclear system. The declaration follows another ominous threat to the West from the Russian president.

Putin recently issued a warning to former Soviet Union states that anyone who resists Russia risks a recurrence of the Ukrainian invasion. Putin discussed Russia's ambitions to use the cutting-edge missile system in a speech to military graduates in Moscow. The dictator of Russia said that the potent S-500 was already on its way to the Russian armed forces.

Incoming hypersonic missiles can be destroyed in near space by the lethal S-500 surface-to-air defense system, which was unveiled last year. It can shoot down hostile missiles and planes up to 125 kilometers in the air. Ballistic missiles and maybe even low orbit satellites are now within striking distance.

Additionally, according to Putin, the army will soon get the Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile. With its 15 warheads and its 11,000-mile range, the deadly Satan 2 nuclear missile has the ability to obliterate an area the size of the United Kingdom in a single blast. The use of the lethal weapon comes as tensions over the invasion of Ukraine are rising and the Russian president has threatened the West repeatedly.
