No. 1 Syracuse remains undefeated with 23 straight wins. With March around the corner, the team's 23-0 record is even a surprise to some of Syracuse's players.

"I knew we'd have a good team at the end of the year, but in the summertime I didn't think we'd be the No. 1 team in the country," Syracuse senior forward C.J. Fair admitted, via ESPN.

While the Orange are clearly the team to beat this season, they are wary of becoming complacent and easing off the throttle against lower-ranked teams.

"Every game we have in this league is difficult," Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim said. "We've been in tough games. We know it will be tough. We like to run, but people are going to do what they've been doing. We can't force tempo if someone wants to do this (slow the place)."

No. 25 Pittsburgh, meanwhile, heads into Wednesday's contest looking for a third straight. The Panthers (20-4) responded to consecutive losses to Duke and Virginia with wins over Miami and Virginia Tech.

Pittsburgh coach Jamie Dixon has ended Syracuse's winning streaks twice in the past four years, according to ESPN, and he doesn't plan to play them any differently on Wednesday than he has before.

"You gotta get fouls on them," said Dixon. "I don't think it'll change a lot of what we do. Unless we get foul trouble on their starting center, it won't really change too many things."

After a 59-54 loss to Syracuse on Jan. 18, Wednesday presents an opportunity to even the score.

"I am real confident," Pittsburgh senior forward Lamar Patterson said. "We want another shot at them because we let one go there. It is going to be a fun game."
